Coil Slitting (Letchworth) Ltd was founded in 1957 offering shearing facilities for manufacturing companies in the busy heyday of industrial post war boom.

The CSL Group has amalgamated with and purchased other companies along the way, increasing both turnover and customer base all the time. We are proud of our loyal customers, some of which we have been dealing with for fifty years. Our aim has always been to supply the customer with what they want, when they want it.

Since those early days, the CSL Group has renewed and increased its macchinery and now stocks most grades of carbon steels and non-ferrous metals. From 0.2mm to 6.0mm and all gauges in between.

All the above can be slit on our precision slitting lines and delivered to your factory by one of our seven lorries, most deliveries are made the next day.


VM Zinc Rainwater Systems.

The 'Rainwater System' from VM Zinc is a user friendly rainwater system made from pre-weathered zinc in two finishes; Quartz and Anthra. There are two ranges; 'Rainwater System D', designed specifically for domestic buildings, and 'Rainwater P', for commercial and industrial buildings. One feature of the system is a unique concealed bracket for fascia fixing of the gutter. The 'D' system can be mastic glued but the 'P' system should be soldered.

A Bigwood flattener cut to length line can flatten up to 3.2mm from coil, and lengths to suit you. We have been ISO9001 approved.We also offer service work on our slitters and currently slit for many Stockists and Mills including B.S.C.

Our sister company C.S Alloys, stock all non-ferrous metals in both metric and imperial sizes and constantly improving stocks and service to customers. We offer protective laminating on all sheet and coil, shearing on three guillotines, slit coil to width, cut bar and section, fabricate from drawings and hold special extrusions in stock. enquiries. Quantity is not a problem for us as we can provide from 25kilogrammes to
